I have toyed with this site for almost ten years. It started as a little slice of me sharing my thoughts with the world. Over time the internet its vast methods of communication have evolved. I'm relaunching Essence of Me. I want to take you back to a time when things are not so complicated and you were not bombarded with hyperlinks and advertising. I plan to use videos and hopefully continue to take your questions about natural hair (and locing), my health journey, and my crafts of choice--crocheting and writing.
