I’m on the hunt for easy quilt patterns. Well…maybe not easy easy but I want something I can adapt to suit my needs as I learn the ropes.
I stumbled upon Block from an email advertising a daily special. And I’m so glad I found it!
Today I’m sharing a looking inside…and my thoughts on Block “magazine”. Enjoy!

A few things I’d like to reiterate about the books, so far. I love them. The concept, the patterns, the layout, the simplicity. I would highly recommend them to new quilters as well.
I ordered one and loved it so that I ordered two more. I also subscribed and look forward to making more quilts using MSQC patterns.
BLOCK by Missouri Star Quilt Company is a magazine we design, produce, and publish all in house here at MSQC! There are no ads, not a single one. We take tutorials that Mom has done on YouTube and write the patterns, then make the quilts out of new fabric and write stories and guides to go along with them. Lots of photos, ideas for projects, and patterns all written out, 10 of them, in every issue! If you don’t love it, send it back, we’ll give you a refund, but don’t worry, you’ll love it! 🙂
