I started quilting in January and I’ve made a bunch of small projects. But this is my first pieced quilt that is part pattern part me.

I’m proud to introduce…

About Payton’s Lovie

This pattern has a base of Falling Charms Quilt by Missouri Star Quilt Company (link below) but I branched out from there.

I’m sure your eyes are immediately drawn to the nameplate. “Payton”‘s name is found with cute little animals playing pick-a-boo. All appliqué was fused and sewn.

I did the cutting, assembly, quilting and binding. This is 100% Handmade by Dana. 😉 The finished size is approximately 40 x 58 inches.

What I love most about this project:

  • The animals around the letters; and
  • The scrappy binding.

I’ve wanted to quilt for YEARS. And I can’t believe I’m doing it. It makes me giddy
